How do I export charts and tables?

You can export most charts and tables in SystemView to image files or Excel, for reporting, analysis, or sharing with others.

SystemView allows you to export most charts and tables for reporting, analysis, or presentations. Exports are available after clicking the purple Activate button on the tile you want to export.

Exporting a chart

  1. Click the Activate button in the top-right corner of the chart tile.
  2. In the top-right toolbar of the activated chart, click Export.
  3. Select one of the following options:
    • Download PNG – saves a snapshot image file of the chart.
    • Download CSV or XLS – exports the raw data behind the chart to an Excel file.

💡 Use CSV/XLS if you want to analyse the data, or PNG if you need a visual for a presentation or report.

  2. In the top-right toolbar of the activated table, click Export.
  3. Select Download XLS or CSV to export the full table to an Excel spreadsheet.
  4. The export will begin preparing. Once ready, click the blue Download button.
  5. The file will be saved to your computer’s Downloads folder.

Note: For patient list exports, you may be asked to Select Columns to Export:

  • Choose All Columns, or manually select individual columns by clicking on them.
  • Selected columns will turn blue.
  • The order in which you select the columns is the order they will appear in your export.
  • Once you're happy with your column selection, click Download Now.

💡Tables in SystemView typically display only the top 20 or 100 results on screen. When you export to Excel, you’ll see the entire dataset, not just the visible rows.

A few things to note

  • You must activate the tile first to access export options.

  • Some tiles may not support export (e.g., non-data visuals or static text).
  • Exports reflect any filters applied at the time of download.
