How is the 'Estimated Additional IPDC/GI Scopes Cases per Week from Outpatient Improvement Initiatives' (Column 'I') calculated in the HSEView Demand & Capacity component?
Column “I” shows the increase in weekly Inpatient/Day Case (IPDC) or GI Scopes additions estimate to arise in association with delivering the Sláintecare targets in Outpatients
This figure is the estimated increase in additions to the IPDC/GI Scopes list that are likely to arise from seeing more outpatients.NOTE: The Outpatient Demand and Capacity Report does not show Column I, instead it has Column M and N that shows the number of outpatients that would have been converted to IPDC and GI Scopes, respectively.
