How many patients are waiting to be seen in the Emergency Department?

Open domains and follow the click path to Emergency Department, Department Now, Situation Report, then go to the Patients Waiting summary table.

The Patients Waiting summary table provides a summary of the total number of patients waiting for the next Emergency Department event. This includes patients waiting to be seen, patients in waiting rooms, patients waiting for subspecialty review and patients waiting for inpatient admissions. The summary table also highlights patients that have been waiting greater than 1-hour for subspecialty reviews and inpatient admissions.
