Why do I see a "connection not secure" message when accessing SystemView?

Sometimes when you try to open SystemView, your browser may show a warning that the connection is "not secure." This can look alarming, but here’s what it actually means:

  • Protected network: SystemView sits behind your health organisation’s secure firewall. To reach it from outside the network (e.g., working from home), you’ll need to connect through your organisation's Virtual Private Network (VPN).

  • Browser warnings: Some browsers may display a "connection not secure" message because of how the VPN routes traffic. You might see options such as AdvancedProceed anyway before you can continue.

It is safe to continue.
SystemView itself is secure and always requires your health organisation login. Your data and connection remain protected.

💡Tip: If you see this message often or are unsure whether it’s safe to continue, contact your organisation's IT team. They can confirm whether your VPN connection is set up correctly.
