What does wait group mean?

Wait group is used to split patients into wait list groups that each require a different type of action.

Unbooked - patients without an operation date with more than 28 days to target treatment date

Unbooked risk - patients without an operation date within 28 days of target treatment date

Unbooked long wait – patients without a booking that have exceeded their clinically recommended timeframe. Booked in Time -patients with planned appointment with more than 14 days until their clinically recommended timeframe expires.

Booked Risk – patients with a planned appointment within 14 days of target treatment date

Booked Breach – patients with a planned appointment that is after their clinically recommended timeframe

Booked Long Wait – patients with a planned appointment who have already exceeded their clinically recommended timeframe
