# What is Explore?

## The Explore environment in SystemView allows you to navigate through the different domains, components, and levels of analysis.

**Explore** is the main environment in SystemView where you access and analyse your health service’s data. It allows you to move through different domains (e.g., Surgery, Outpatients, Beds), using the **daisy chain** layout.

Each domain contains **component groups** and **individual components**, where you’ll find charts, tables, and filters to help you drill into performance, trends, and activity.
