How to make your own copy (duplicate) of SharedProjects
Create a personal version of SharedProjects you can edit and present
MyProjects that have been shared with you appear under SharedProjects. You can view and export them, but you can’t make changes or share it. However, to customise a shared project for your needs, you can duplicate it. This creates a new project in MyProjects you fully own and control.
Duplicating SharedProjects
-
In Interact, open SharedProjects.
-
From the dropdown, select the project you want to copy.
-
Click the ellipsis (…) menu in the top-right corner.
-
Select Duplicate MyProject Page.
-
Enter a new title for your copy.
-
Using the toggle, decide whether to keep the shared version or unsubscribe from it.
ℹ️ Choosing Yes removes the shared project from your SystemView, leaving only your new copy in MyProjects. Choosing No keeps both the shared version and your own copy. - Click Update.
Your new copy of the project will now be saved under MyProjects, ready to edit, manage, and share.
💡 Quick tip: If you keep the subscription when duplicating, you’ll have both the shared version and your own copy. This is handy if you want to see updates from the original owner while still editing your own version.
