Use of Artificial Intelligence in SystemView
SystemView may use Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) to summarise information, generate draft content, identify patterns, and support users in interpreting operational and customer data. AI-enabled functionality in SystemView is intended to support summarisation, interpretation, drafting, and operational analysis. It is not intended to replace clinical judgement, organisational governance, approved workflows, or human decision-making.
Where AI is used, HealthCare Logic will clearly identify AI-generated content to users.
HealthCare Logic will conduct regular quality, security and compliance reviews of AI-generated content and AI-enabled functionality, including alignment with applicable privacy and data protection obligations in the jurisdictions in which we operate, such as the Australian Privacy Act, UK GDPR, the UK Data Protection Act 2018, and Irish data protection requirements.
AI-generated outputs must not be used for decision-making or actioned without appropriate human review.
By using this service, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Probabilistic Outputs
AI-generated outputs are probabilistic and not deterministic. Content is produced by machine learning models and may contain inaccuracies, errors, or omissions. - No Liability for Reliance
AI-generated content is provided to support user review and interpretation. HealthCare Logic does not warrant that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, reliable, or suitable for any particular purpose.
Users are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated outputs before relying on them or using them to inform decisions or actions.
HealthCare Logic may update, replace, or change supported AI models or providers from time to time.
Where a material change affects data processing, hosting, output behaviour, customer risk, or contractual obligations, HealthCare Logic will notify affected customers in accordance with applicable agreements and legal requirements. - Human Verification Required
Users are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated output before relying on it or using it for clinical, operational, professional, legal, financial, reporting, escalation, workflow, or other business decisions.
AI-generated outputs must not be used as the sole basis for clinical decisions, patient triage, diagnosis, treatment decisions, funding decisions, workforce decisions, or other high-impact decisions. - No Professional Advice
The outputs provided by AI are for informational purposes only and do not constitute clinical, medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.
AI-generated outputs are not a substitute for professional judgement, clinical judgement, organisational policies, or approved clinical and operational governance processes. - Input Data Security
Users must not enter patient-identifiable information, sensitive personal information, confidential information, or proprietary information into free-text AI prompts unless the relevant use case, configuration, contractual arrangements, and applicable privacy obligations permit it.
HealthCare Logic handles customer data in accordance with applicable privacy, data protection, security, and contractual obligations, including where relevant the Australian Privacy Act, UK GDPR, the UK Data Protection Act 2018, and Irish data protection requirements. - AI Usage Restrictions
Users must not use AI-generated outputs for illegal, unethical, unsafe, or unauthorised purposes.
This includes using AI-generated outputs as the sole basis for clinical decisions, patient triage, diagnosis, treatment decisions, funding decisions, workforce decisions, regulatory reporting, or other high-impact decisions without appropriate human review and oversight. - Use of Your Data
HealthCare Logic will not use identifiable customer data to train public AI models.
Any use of customer data, including de-identified or anonymised data and metadata, for AI training, evaluation, testing, monitoring, optimisation, or improvement will be handled in accordance with applicable customer agreements, privacy obligations, data protection requirements, information security controls, and approved product configurations.
Where customer data is de-identified or anonymised, HealthCare Logic will apply appropriate controls designed to reduce the risk of re-identification.
Where third-party AI providers are used, HealthCare Logic will ensure appropriate contractual, privacy, data protection, and security controls are in place. - Transparency, Review and Error Reporting
Where SystemView uses AI-generated content, this will be clearly identified to users.
Not all SystemView dashboards, analytics, alerts, recommendations, or insights are AI-generated.
Users should report any AI-generated output that appears incorrect, unsafe, biased, misleading, incomplete, or inappropriate through the applicable HealthCare Logic support or customer success process.
HealthCare Logic may review reported issues to support quality assurance, compliance monitoring, and product improvement, subject to applicable privacy, security, and contractual obligations - Intended Use and Limitations
AI-enabled functionality in SystemView is intended to support summarisation, interpretation, drafting, pattern identification, and operational analysis.
AI-generated outputs are not intended to replace clinical judgement, organisational governance, approved workflows, or human decision-making.
Users remain responsible for any decisions, actions, communications, reports, escalations, or workflows informed by AI-generated outputs. - Data Quality and Output Limitations
The quality and relevance of AI-generated outputs may depend on the completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and structure of the underlying customer data available in SystemView.
AI-generated outputs may also reflect limitations, assumptions, or bias in the underlying data, model design, configuration, or available context.
Users should consider the source data, local context, and known data quality limitations when reviewing AI-generated outputs. - Permissions and Access Controls
AI-enabled functionality in SystemView will operate within configured customer permissions, access controls, and role-based access settings.
Users should only generate, view, or use AI-generated outputs based on data they are authorised to access within SystemView.
