Why does SystemView display “No Doctor”?
Learn why SystemView may display “No Doctor” or “No Doctor Information” in theatre components and how to resolve it.
In SystemView, you might see “No Doctor” or “No Doctor Information” in theatre-related components such as Theatre Schedule or Theatre Effectiveness.
This message appears when SystemView cannot find a doctor allocation in your hospital’s source system.
What it means
- SystemView retrieves doctor information directly from your hospital’s scheduling source.
- If a session does not have a doctor entered in that system, SystemView will show “No Doctor” for that session.
- The data displayed in SystemView always reflects the information currently entered in your local system, it does not override or manually fill in missing details.
How to check
- Review your hospital’s source scheduling system.
- Confirm that a doctor has been entered against the relevant session.
- Once the allocation is saved in the source system, the update will flow through automatically to SystemView after the next data refresh.
Where it appears
This message can appear in several theatre components, including:
- Elective Schedule Monitor: when a listed session has no doctor entered in the schedule.
- Theatre Effectiveness: when the session’s assigned doctor field is empty in the schedule or allocation data.
