Why is my data missing or wrong in SystemView?
Sometimes the data you see in SystemView may look missing, incomplete, or incorrect.
This can appear in a few different ways, for example:
- Patients missing from a patient list or waiting list
- Numbers in a chart looking wrong or incomplete
- A trend line suddenly dropping to zero
These issues usually have the same root causes and can be troubleshooted using the steps below.
1. Check the source system
- Data in SystemView comes directly from your source system.
- If information is missing or incorrect in the source system, it will also appear that way in SystemView.
- First, confirm the data is entered correctly in your source system.
2. Confirm the refresh time
- SystemView updates at scheduled times throughout the day.
- If changes have just been made in your source system, they may not yet be reflected in SystemView.
- Check the Data updated as at timestamp at the top of the component to confirm when it last refreshed.
3. Possible data feed delays or outages
If the source system looks correct and the refresh time has passed, there could be an issue with the data feed coming into SystemView. This may include a temporary delay or outage.
If there is ever an issue impacting data refreshes or the use of SystemView, a notification banner will appear at the top of the screen.

- Orange indicates a warning (e.g., delayed data).
- Red indicates a critical issue or outage.
4. SystemView calculation or logic error
-
In some cases, the issue may be with the way SystemView processes or displays the data.
