How are Not Ready for Surgery patients captured in SystemView?

Learn where Not Ready for Surgery (NRFS) data comes from and how to view these patients in SystemView.

Not Ready for Surgery (NRFS) information is collected directly from your hospital’s patient administration or source system.

When a patient is marked as NRFS in the source system, that information automatically flows through to SystemView after the next data refresh (usually overnight).

Once the NRFS end date passes, the patient’s status will automatically update to Ready for Surgery in SystemView after the following data refresh, no manual action is required.


How to find NRFS patients in SystemView

To view patients currently marked as Not Ready for Surgery:

  1. Go to Explore > Surgery > Waiting List.
  2. Click on the Patient List component.
  3. In the Filter Bar, set the Not Ready for Surgery filter to NRFS Only to see only those patients currently marked as Not Ready for Surgery.
